The LR V4.0 is built specifically around Jaguar and Land Rover electronics, including Range Rover models. It can scan supported control modules throughout the vehicle, display live values, operate components directly and perform many service, calibration and component-replacement procedures.
Compared with the LR V3.0, the major changes are the touchscreen interface, direct WiFi updates, rechargeable hardware and the ability to add two further manufacturer groups. The core JLR diagnostic and active-test depth remains the reason to choose it.

Full-System Diagnostics and Active Tests
Depending on the vehicle, accessible systems may include engine, transmission, ABS, SRS airbags, electronic parking brake, air suspension, steering, body control, climate control, battery management, instrument cluster and diesel emissions.
Active tests can command supported pumps, valves, suspension components, locks, windows, lights, relays, fans and other outputs to help isolate a fault.
Service and Maintenance Functions
Common procedures include oil reset, electronic parking brake service, steering-angle calibration, throttle relearn, DPF regeneration, injector coding, ABS bleeding, battery management, TPMS functions and air-suspension service.
Further routines may include transmission adaptations, headlamp calibration, air-conditioning functions, airbag procedures, AdBlue and EGR resets, turbo relearn, high-voltage battery functions, camera and radar routines, window and door learning and other model-specific operations.
Adaptations and Coding
The LR V4.0 supports selected adaptations, calibrations and coding-related functions on compatible JLR vehicles and modules.
Important: It is not a universal JLR software-flashing or online dealer-programming tool. Function depth varies by vehicle.
Hardware and WiFi Updates
The 5-inch Android tool includes a quad-core processor, 64GB storage and a 5000mAh battery for around six hours of use. Updates install directly over WiFi.
