The VAWS V3.0 is built specifically around Volkswagen Group electronics. It can scan supported control units throughout the vehicle, read and clear fault codes, display live data and freeze-frame information, identify compatible vehicles through AutoVIN and save reports for later reference.
Its main advantage over the VAWS V1.0 is the addition of full-system access, active tests and a much broader service package. It also supports selected adaptations and coding-related procedures that are useful after some repairs or component replacements.

Full-System Diagnostics
Depending on the vehicle, the VAWS V3.0 can access engine, transmission, ABS, SRS airbags, instrument cluster, electronic parking brake, steering, body control, battery management, climate control, lighting, diesel emissions and other available modules.
It can carry out a complete vehicle scan, read and clear system codes, display control-unit information and monitor live values during diagnosis or repair verification.
Bi-Directional Active Tests
Active testing allows the scanner to command supported components such as pumps, fans, relays, locks, windows, lights, wipers and other electronic outputs.
This helps confirm whether a component and its control circuit respond correctly instead of relying only on stored fault codes.
Service and Maintenance Functions
The VAWS V3.0 includes common procedures such as oil and service-interval reset, electronic parking brake service, steering-angle calibration, DPF regeneration, throttle adaptation, injector coding, ABS bleeding, battery registration and TPMS-related functions.

Selected Adaptations and Coding
The VAWS V3.0 supports selected coding and adaptation routines on compatible Volkswagen Group modules. This may help after some component replacements or when a supported setting must be relearned or calibrated.

Hardware and Updates
