GPS Tracking Platform Access Update

The GPS trackers sold by Stahlcar use the official iTrackSafe tracking platform, which provides live vehicle tracking, trip history, alerts and remote monitoring through the mobile app and web platform.

To ensure the platform continues to operate reliably and receive ongoing updates, the platform provider has introduced a small platform maintenance fee for continued access.

This change applies to the following trackers:

• Stahlcar A1
• Stahlcar MT1
• Stahlcar C036

All Stahlcar GPS trackers include 12 months of platform access from activation.

Please note that this change has been introduced by the tracking platform provider, not Stahlcar. The platform fees are paid directly through the tracking app, and Stahlcar does not receive any portion of these fees.

What Does This Mean For New Devices?

All new trackers include 12 months of platform access from the first activation.

After the first year, access can be renewed directly within the tracking app.

The renewal fee is charged by the platform provider and helps support server infrastructure, app updates and long term operation of the tracking platform.

Current renewal pricing:

• 1 year access – $3 USD
• 3 years access – $4 USD
• 5 years access – $6 USD
• 10 years access – $8 USD

Accounts with multiple devices automatically receive a 20% discount on renewals.

What About Existing Customers?

For devices that have already been activated, the following applies:

• Trackers activated after September 2025 include 12 months of platform access from their activation date

• Trackers activated before September 2025 will continue operating normally until 28th September 2026, after which platform access will need to be renewed

This transition period ensures existing customers have plenty of time before any renewal is required.

Why Has This Been Introduced?

The platform maintenance fee helps support the ongoing operation of the tracking system, including:

• Server infrastructure that handles tracking data
• Mobile app development and updates
• Security improvements and platform reliability

The fee has been kept intentionally low so that users can continue using the tracking platform long term without expensive subscription costs.

Do I Need to Pay This Fee to Use the Tracker?

Yes. The tracking platform requires active access in order to provide live location updates and store tracking data.

Renewals are handled directly inside the tracking app when required.

How do I renew?

Renewals will be done easily through the website tracking platform.
