Unlike a basic OBD2 reader, the FD V1.0 can access supported electronic systems across the vehicle. Depending on the model, this may include engine, transmission, ABS, SRS airbags, body control, steering, instrument and other available modules.
It can read and clear system fault codes, show live data and ECU information, identify supported vehicles automatically and retain diagnostic history. It does not include bi-directional active tests or the larger service package found in higher-level tools.

Service Functions
The FD V1.0 includes oil/service-interval reset and steering-angle sensor reset on supported vehicles. These cover the basic maintenance tasks the V1 platform is designed for.
It does not include electronic parking brake service, DPF regeneration, injector coding, ABS bleeding or active tests. Users needing those functions should move to a higher-level American-vehicle or all-makes tool.
Hardware and Updates
The compact unit uses a 2.8-inch 320 × 240 colour display and physical buttons. It is powered through the vehicle’s OBD2 socket, so there is no battery to charge.
Updates are installed through a Windows computer by USB. Lifetime free updates are included with no annual subscription.
