Standalone Full-System Diagnostics for VW, Audi, Skoda and SEAT
The Konnwei KW350 is a dedicated handheld scanner for supported Volkswagen Group vehicles. It communicates with engine, transmission, ABS, airbags, body, steering, climate and other fitted systems without requiring a phone, app or internet connection during normal use.
It also includes selected VW Group service functions and can read standard engine and emissions codes on many other 12-volt OBD2 vehicles.

The KW350 is intended for customers who want a straightforward low-cost tool for the Volkswagen Group and do not want to manage a phone app. It is powered directly through the diagnostic port and uses physical buttons and a built-in screen.
Support for KWP1281, KWP2000, TP-CAN and UDS helps it communicate with a wide range of older and newer VW Group control modules, although exact model coverage still varies.
Best Suited For
The KW350 suits Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and SEAT owners who want full-system fault codes, live data and a small set of common service procedures in a standalone handheld. It is particularly suitable for occasional home use where active tests and advanced coding are not required.

Codes, Module Information and Live Data
The scanner can read and clear manufacturer-specific codes from supported modules, display control-unit information and show live data where the vehicle makes it available.
Useful checks may include comparing wheel speeds, checking coolant temperature, viewing transmission data, confirming steering-angle position, monitoring battery voltage or checking whether switches and sensors are changing state.
The tool can clear a warning light after a fault has been repaired. If the underlying condition remains, the code will generally return.

Oil Service Reset: Resets supported service interval reminders after maintenance.

Throttle Adaptation: Relearns the electronic throttle after cleaning, disconnection or replacement.

Airbag Reset: Clears supported SRS fault codes after the fault has been repaired.
Airbag Reset Does Not Bypass a Fault
The scanner can clear a stored SRS code only after the cause has been repaired. It cannot safely remove an active airbag fault, repair crash damage or replace the checks required after restraint-system work.
Generic OBD2 on Other Vehicle Makes
The KW350 can also be used as a standard engine and emissions code reader on many 12-volt OBD2 vehicles outside the Volkswagen Group.
Generic functions include engine-code reading and clearing, live OBD2 data, freeze frame and emissions-readiness information where supported. Other makes do not receive full-system coverage or the VW-specific service functions.
What the KW350 Does Not Include
The KW350 does not provide general bi-directional active tests, advanced feature coding, online programming or the broad service package of higher-level iCarsoft VAWS tools. It is primarily a diagnostic and common-reset handheld.
Standalone Operation
No phone, account or mobile app is required. The scanner is powered by the connected vehicle and is ready to use once the correct vehicle is selected from the menu.
The small monochrome display is less spacious than a phone or modern colour handheld, but physical buttons and simple menus make it suitable for occasional garage work.
Software Updating
Updates are installed through a compatible Windows computer using the supplied USB cable and Konnwei update software. Internet access is required during the update process.
The tool can continue to be used with its installed software if no update is carried out.
Vehicle Compatibility
Full-system coverage is for supported Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and SEAT vehicles using KWP, TP-CAN, CAN or UDS communication. Coverage includes many models from the late 1990s onward, but exact modules and resets vary.
The universal engine OBD2 function covers many compliant petrol and diesel light vehicles. It is not intended for 24-volt heavy trucks.
