The CR V2.0 is supplied without every vehicle brand loaded. Using a Windows computer, you select and install software for the manufacturers you actually work on, up to a maximum of 10. This makes it practical for a household, small fleet or workshop with a defined mix of vehicles.
Within supported vehicles it can scan electronic modules beyond the engine, read and clear codes, display live data and carry out the main maintenance procedures commonly needed by home mechanics.
Best Suited For
The CR V2.0 is best suited to users who need full-system access across a limited number of vehicle makes and prefer a simple button-operated handheld.
It is a good fit for multi-car households, small fleets and home workshops that do not need active tests or the larger service package of the CR V3.0.
How the 10-Make Coverage Works
Vehicle software is downloaded through a Windows computer. You can choose up to 10 manufacturers from the supported iCarsoft database.
The limit applies to manufacturers, not individual vehicles. Coverage and functions still vary by model, year and fitted module.

System Diagnostics
Depending on the selected manufacturer and vehicle, accessible systems may include engine, transmission, ABS, SRS airbags, body control, electronic parking brake, climate control and other fitted modules.
The CR V2.0 can read and clear fault codes, display ECU information and view live values for supported systems. It does not include the bi-directional active tests offered by the CR V3.0 and higher models.
Service Functions
Supported functions may include oil and service reset, electronic parking brake maintenance, battery registration, DPF regeneration, electronic throttle relearn, steering-angle calibration, ABS bleeding, injector coding and TPMS-related procedures.
Service coverage depends on the exact manufacturer software, vehicle model, year and system.
Updates and Hardware
The CR V2.0 uses a 4-inch colour screen with physical silicone buttons. Software and manufacturer packages are managed through a Windows computer using the supplied USB connection.
Lifetime free updates are included with no annual subscription.
Vehicle Compatibility
The CR V2.0 supports a broad selection of European, Asian, American and Australian manufacturers, with up to 10 chosen for installation.
