Pre-2001 BMWSelected Older Models
Many older BMWs use a round 20-pin diagnostic connector under the bonnet. This adapter lets a compatible iCarsoft scanner connect to that socket through its normal 16-pin diagnostic cable.
Some later BMWs can have both the round under-bonnet connector and a 16-pin cabin connector. Module access can differ between the two, so the vehicle setup should be checked before ordering.
